Still have a question?

Call or email. We're reachable 24/7.

Getting started

How do I get an estimate?

Call (508) 410-0974, email valdemararruda@gmail.com, or use the form on our contact page. Tell us the town, what needs work and roughly when, and we'll set up a time to come look.

What areas do you serve?

Barrington and Providence in Rhode Island, and Seekonk, Fall River and Swansea in Massachusetts. If you're nearby, call and ask. See our service areas.

Do you work on homes and businesses?

Yes. We paint and repair houses, condos, storefronts, offices, restaurants and warehouses.

Can I reach you outside business hours?

Yes. We're reachable 24/7, which matters most when water or damage won't wait.

Do photos help?

Yes. Photos of the rooms or walls, and of any damage, help us understand the job before we visit. You can email them to valdemararruda@gmail.com.

Interior work

Do I need to move my furniture?

Clear small items, valuables and anything fragile. We move and cover the furniture we need to work around and paper the floors before we start.

Can you help me choose colors?

We can brush larger samples onto your walls so you can see them in your own light before you decide.

Do you paint cabinets and built-ins?

Yes. Cabinets and built-ins are cleaned, sanded and primed with a bonding primer before the finish coats.

Will you fix cracks and holes first?

Yes. Repairs are part of the prep, and our crew handles plaster and sheetrock repairs too.

Exterior work

When is exterior painting season?

Usually late spring into the fall. Paint needs dry weather and temperatures above the product's minimum while it cures, so we schedule around the forecast.

Do you paint brick and stucco?

Yes, with products made for masonry. If water is coming through the wall, it gets sealed first.

Should my house be washed before it's painted?

Yes, and washing is part of our exterior prep. New paint bonds to clean wood and siding, not to dirt and mildew.

Other services

What's the difference between softwashing and power washing?

Softwashing uses low pressure and cleaning solutions, for siding and roofs. Power washing uses higher pressure, for concrete, pavers and stone. More on washing.

Can old plaster be repaired?

Usually, yes. Loose plaster is reattached, cracks are taped and filled, and the wall is skimmed so it blends in. More on plaster.

Do you hang sheetrock and then paint it?

Yes. We hang, tape, finish, prime and paint, so the room is done by one company. More on sheetrock.

Which spray foam do I need?

It depends on the space, the wall depth and moisture. We'll recommend open- or closed-cell foam after we see the framing. More on spray foam.

Why does paint peel on my foundation?

Usually because moisture is coming through the masonry. The wall needs to be cleaned, repaired and sealed before it's painted. More on waterproofing.
